How treatment works

How hormone therapy works

Hormones act as chemical messengers that influence energy, sleep, mood, libido, and more. When levels shift with age or other factors, symptoms can follow. Hormone therapy aims to ease those symptoms by bringing hormones back toward a healthy range under medical supervision. Your provider evaluates your history, orders appropriate lab work, and tailors treatment to you.

Individual results vary, and no specific outcome is promised. Your provider sets realistic goals with you and adjusts treatment based on your symptoms and your lab results.

Eligibility

Who it may be right for

Adults in Florida seeking medically supervised hormone care may be candidates. Eligibility is determined by your provider during your live evaluation and depends on your medical history, current medications, lab work, and clinical goals. You must be 18 or older.

Treatment requires a synchronous live video consultation with a licensed provider. The online intake gathers information only; no prescription is issued based on the questionnaire alone. (Fla. Stat. § 456.47)

Medications are dispensed by our partner pharmacy, Olympia Pharmacy, a 503A compounding pharmacy and 503B outsourcing facility (FDA-registered).
