How it works
About hormone therapy for women
Around perimenopause and menopause, levels of estrogen and progesterone shift, and some women experience symptoms such as hot flashes, night sweats, disrupted sleep, mood changes, and vaginal dryness. For appropriate candidates, hormone therapy can help address these symptoms under medical supervision.
Your provider reviews your symptoms, your health history, and your goals, and discusses whether hormone therapy is a reasonable option for you and which approach fits. Treatment is individualized and monitored over time, and your provider revisits the plan with you as your needs change.
Individual results vary, and no specific outcome is promised. Your provider sets realistic goals with you and adjusts treatment based on your symptoms and your lab results.

Who it may be right for
Adult women in Florida experiencing symptoms related to perimenopause, menopause, or hormone changes may be candidates. Eligibility is determined by your provider during your live evaluation and depends on your medical history, current medications, and clinical goals. You must be 18 or older.

Who it may not be right for
Hormone therapy is a prescription treatment. It requires a medical evaluation, baseline and follow-up lab work, and ongoing monitoring, and it is not appropriate for everyone.
This treatment is generally not appropriate if you have:
- A history of breast, uterine, or other hormone-sensitive cancer
- A history of blood clots, stroke, or certain heart or liver conditions
- Unexplained vaginal bleeding your provider has not evaluated
- Current pregnancy or breastfeeding
What your provider reviews
Estrogen and progesterone therapy carries risks that depend on your age, your history, and the type of therapy. Your provider reviews your personal and family history in detail, weighs the benefits against the risks with you, and monitors your response over time.
Seek immediate medical care for chest pain, shortness of breath, a sudden severe headache, weakness or numbness, swelling or pain in a leg, or signs of an allergic reaction.

Medications are dispensed by our partner pharmacy, Olympia Pharmacy, a 503A compounding pharmacy and 503B outsourcing facility (FDA-registered). Olympia Pharmacy is located at 4600 L B McLeod Rd, Orlando, Florida 32811. Your medication is compounded on a patient-specific (503A) basis, pursuant to your prescription.
